Ayahuasca Ceremony – Tucson, AZ – December 13, 14, & 15, 2024
December 13 - December 15
The Arizona Yagé Assembly is gathering in Tucson, Arizona for three nights:
Friday, December 13th, Saturday, December 14th, and December 15th, 2024.
We hope you can join us and share sacred space with us.
The main purpose of our ceremonies is to further develop a deeper and more conscious relationship with the divine spirit, and to look for better and healthier ways to live and relate to self, family, and community. Therefore, it’s essential that you bring your own purposeful intention with you to ceremony.
Please read the following summary and scroll to the bottom of this page to register…
These ceremonies will be held indoors overnight at our ceremonial site in the cooler high desert just west of Tucson, Arizona. We’ll gather together in groups of 30-35 participants for each ceremony. Dates fill quickly. If the date you’re interested in fills up, please visit our website at www.aya.guide to see if there are additional ceremony dates that may work for you.
There are a few things to keep in mind before signing up: If you have a heart condition or chronic high blood pressure, you may not be able to participate in ceremony. Certain drugs, herbs, and medications have also been found to be incompatible with ayahuasca. If you’ve been on one of the SSRI class of antidepressants, you’ll need to have been off of them for 8 weeks before participating in ceremony. Antihypertensive medications must also be completely out of your system in order to safely participate in ceremony. We advise that you give your system sufficient time for the removal of any incompatible substances from your body before attending ceremony, and please make sure that you consult with your healthcare provider before discontinuing any prescription medications. Major health conditions may require special attention, so please feel free to contact us by phone or email if you have any questions or concerns in this regard.
After you sign up and provide your donation for ceremony here, you will be sent a confirmation email and provided with links to fill out your AYA Health Form and Ceremony Questionnaire. Each ceremony participant will need to fill out their own health form and questionnaire for review.
No news is good news! Once you have submitted your health form, your questionnaire, and have provided your ceremony donation, your registration will be considered complete and you won’t hear back from us until closer to your ceremony weekend (unless we need more information from you or need to check in with you about something that you reported to us). Leading up to your ceremony weekend, we will send out a packing list with additional information so you will know what to bring with you. An email containing the ceremony location and any applicable driving directions will be sent approximately two or three days prior to your ceremony weekend.
Ceremony Preparation: In seeking help, guidance, healing, and learning, it is important for you to establish a clear intention and purpose for attending ceremony. It’s important to be in the best possible disposition for the event. There are some basic dietary restrictions and other guidelines to adhere to at least five days prior to the event. A link to our AYA Ceremony Preparation Guidelines document is provided to help prepare yourself for ceremony.
Lodging & Accommodations: If you are coming from out of town to join us for ceremony, you may be considering your options for where to lodge in Tucson. While you are welcome to stay wherever you wish, some of our crew members have recently opened up their homes to welcome ceremony attendees in for the weekends and we continue to have an agreement with Hotel McCoy in Tucson that affords AYA ceremony participants a discount on their stay. If you would like to review the lodging options and recommendations we have put together for you, please have a look at our AYA Lodging Options page.
